In exchange, you get more heater flexibility than SaunaLife's cabin model: the E8W offers a genuine wood-burning stove option (Harvia M3) alongside several electric choices, if you want the traditional wood-fire ritual rather than being locked into electric.

The barrel shape itself is a real functional difference too, not just aesthetic — rounded walls circulate heat more evenly than flat cabin walls, and the half-moon rear window adds natural light without breaking up the barrel form.

Who it's for: buyers comfortable with a weekend DIY build who want the classic barrel look, and who may want a wood-burning heater rather than electric-only.
